Will Katy Perry become the poster child for Religious Abuse Recovery?
Having grown up around a lot of people with similar attitudes to the ones that Kay Perry's parents allegedly had, I can understand the way she has used her music to strike back.
Usually this type of striking back, while cathartic, just puts folks who imposed the strict religious order on the defensive, but it may be an important first step in her recovering from religious abuse.
